Bridge rate-limiter / chain-pause as positive mitigant
OpenEden's assessment for RD-F-185 — scored gray on the v1.7.0 rubric. The evidence below is the curator's reasoning for this score.
Evidence summary #
OpenEden uses Chainlink CCIP (CCT standard) for USDO Ethereum-to-Base transfers. CCIP provides infrastructure-level rate limiting at the Chainlink layer. No protocol-level on-chain outflow rate-limiter for the OpenEden contracts themselves was found. XRPL TBILL has XRPL validator-controlled emergency pause capability but outside OpenEden's direct control. No dedicated OpenEden chain-pause mechanism documented for EVM contracts. F185 measures protocol-level controls — graded gray as neither a protocol-layer rate-limiter nor a protocol-controlled chain pause is identified.

Methodology #
Determine whether the bridge implements a per-window outflow rate-limiter (and at what cap), and whether the protocol team can trigger a chain-level or validator-set emergency pause.
